Sift flour & remaining ingredients, then stir into molasses mixture. Chill thoroughly. Roll out to 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick & cut out cookies. Place 1 inch apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes about 8 dozen medium cookies. Note: the baking time will vary with the thickness & your oven, so check often at first! After baking & cooling, decorate with white icing & cinnamon red hots. If you want to hang them on your tree, roll out the dough thincker (1/4 inch) & poke a hole near the top before baking for a ribbon hanger.

I think this came from Woman's Day magazine many years ago. Lots of ingredients, but easy to make. I like to chill the dough overnight.

Jane - JacksovnilleJanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00163314579662654431noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8930200716707457657.post-76535854603477806002010-12-01T09:28:38.793-06:002010-12-01T09:28:38.793-06:00Anyone have a yummy recipe for linzer cookies?
